The iBook uses PC2700 RAM and the PowerBook also uses PC2700, so it should work. But... the iBook comes base with 512MB of RAM but it is SOLDERED to the logic board so it cannot be removed. I am guessing that you have 1GB total and 512MB that you added?

In any case -- don't do it.

The Powerbook G4 1.25 GHz model needs RAM compatible with processor-slewing, most SODIMMs are not compatible and will crash the machine as soon as it starts power-saving.

I would stick with Samsung genuine PC2700 modules only, for the 1.0 and 1.25 GHz 15" Al Powerbook (and the 1.0 and 1.33 GHz 17" Powerbook)
