View Full Version : ABC News.com uses WMP for OS X

Just saw this ad on ABCNews.com ... I guess whoever made the ad likes OS X ;)

EDIT: I had said they use WMP, but I was wrong, it's RealPlayer. I'm a little slow.

Not necessarily.
Real Player looks the same on Windows as well ("Aqua" look).

Edit:

My bad. Didn't notice controls, just looked at the skin. Yes, it's OS X.

Yes, it is for OSX, but it's RealPlayer nonetheless; doesn't the original post say WMP? :-P

that's reaplayer. a lot of ads use OS X apps, but i think it's for the eye candy. not to say that windows is ugly;)

Ah, but I think the real thing to note here is the Aqua buttons lower on the screen. They have the Close/Minimize/Maximize colored buttons leading up to the word "Watch". That's clearly a take off of OS X, and you know what they say about imitation...

Ooops, my bad, it is Real Player. I don't use either (yeah VLC!), so sometimes I get confused ;) ... Yeah the three buttons incorporated into the ad is what was most interesting to me.
