Traveling to Jamaica w/iPhone: Just remove SIM to use as iPod?

Like the title states, I'm traveling on my honeymoon to Jamaica tomorrow, and want to use my iPhone as an iPod for videos, music, etc.

If I simply remove the SIM card, I won't be charged any of these ridiculous roaming charges will I? Will it work just to remove the SIM card and not worry about any charges?

airplane mode works fairly well...settings and it right there on the top.no sim card removal required

make sure data mode is off lol. Airplane mode sounds like the way to go 🙂 If you wanna take out your sim just in case, wouldn't hurt,

That will be fine as long as it's activated before you go. But like others have said, just use Airplane mode or turn off Edge Roaming (wont help you if someone calls you tho).
