Drag it into the gutter why don't you? :p

Shame about the Volvo amd4me, but unfortunately they do tend to turn into one big crumple zone if you hit something. I hope your insurance covers it.

Dammit, I told him not to use the current version of Parallels with his car. But amd4me just never listens to good advice around here. *sigh*

Now, I knew about "bum" in British English, but I've never heard the other meaning of "bummer" before.

Duct. Tape.

It fixed Apollo 13, it can fix your car.

It looks like your bags popped - did they?

If so, it's a LOT more expensive to fix - and some situations, popped bags = total loss - without the insurance company even showing up to photograph it.

Sucks man, hope everyone is physically okay.

And hope you're insured.

Edit: Your windows are really dark - so what I thought was a deflated bag, is actually the passenger seat under sunlight.

Providing the frame isn't totally jacked - likely will be repaired. Looks like ~3500 worth of damage to my eyes. (assuming frame is okay)

Bummer indeed.

the frame looks to be a-okay.
But there is now way to tell until they get the panels off.
No bags went off.

And as for it being totaled.
I have a line on the 750iL

Might be. But it depends on the value of the car. As I understand it, a "total" is defined by the cost to repair being more than the market value of the car. Make sure the insurance company is thorough in detailing what the costs are, they'll try to do what is best for themselves, of course.

A 6mph impact in a Suzuki swift can make it a write-off apparently (http://www.thatcham.org/bumpers/index.jsp?page=137)!

...repair costs amount to over £4,600 for a typical, minor, front and rear shunt in a Suzuki Swift. That’s more than half of the total value of the car, and makes it liable to be written off by insurers...

Need to know more about your car to answer that, mate. I am sure the insurance company will tell you. ;)

That's insurance companies' timescales for you. Thieves they are, the lot of them ;)
