Starcraft, Warcraft 3. Starcraft may be 1000 years old but it's still the game I play most.

First of all,

are you looking to play on OS X or Windows?

Some of my suggestions are:

Windows:

Starcraft 2 (you will have to wait)
Supreme Commander

OS X:

Command and Conquer Generals
Command and Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars
Star Wars Empire At War
Age of Empires 3
Warcraft 3

These are my personal favourties but it does depend on what platform you are looking to play on.

All Blizzard games are released simultaneously on Mac and Windows. And the versions almost always have the same performance in both as well. So SCII will run on Mac (Blizzard has already said it will).

However, Starcraft II is still in early development so don't expect it for a year.

Do the OSX games you mention require a new purchase if you have the original PC CDs?

I am trying to add to my game library, and would rather not see Windows, except when I have to be at work!

Of course. Other wise you could get the same games for PC for 50% off of the MAC OS X price, and then just upgrade it for the OS X edition for free? You wish. Hell, I wish too.

Im going to be purchasign AoE3 as well starcraft 2 for mac if it becomes available. Also, probably C&C3 Tiberium wars.
Does any one know when the expansion for AOE3 will be available for mac?

Its lame, because for the same price as the PC version, you just get AOE3, but with the PC version, for that price youd be able to get the expansions with it,

Not if they are Blizzard Games! Just pulled out my Diablo II Chest and installing now. I Love Blizzard! :p Next will be Starcraft!!!!

I really like Star Wars Empire at War. I suck at it, but it's fun anyway.

if you are a boot camper, World in Conflict is pretty fun with nice graphics. runs pretty nice on my iMac with updated ATI drivers.
