Hi, I'm too cheap to buy a new monitor 🙂 so my question is can I use my macbook as a monitor while having it still running on folding or handbrake or whatever.

I sadly dont think you can...

I posed the very same question a few years back with my powerbook G4 so I could hook up my ps2.

Sadly there was no solution and I was told that it wouldnt work...
