how do i connect my wii to the net ???

im trying to set up my wii so i can use the online stuff but it wont work i set up my wifi enterd the wep key but its not working what am i doing wrong or is it like xbox live do i have to set up and account or buy anything ?

It's not like Xbox Live. Does your Wii see the network? You're sure you're entering the right key? Is it a network the Wii can recognize?

it picks up my wifi and the key is correct but it just keeps saying chk with your wii settings ??

Some routers are not compatible with the Wii. Even if it picks it up and the WEP key is correct, some just don't work. :( I've experienced this. I recommend picking up a Buffalo brand router, they're not too expensive, are really fast, and work great with my DS and Wii.
