Internal Modem

Hi
New to Imac, very new only got the things home today. It is a second hand G5 iMac, I am not on the internet yet, but would like to be soon, as the PC is not that modern.

I am with BT in London, on Broadband, but the PC modem that I have is not Apple ready I have been told so I will have to get a new modem, any ideas what I should get, I do not want wireless.

I have notice that the Imac as am internal modem, will that work, I think it is a 'Jump' modem, mot sure if that is right? What can I do with this Modem?
