When I shut the MBP lid slowly, it seems to click a little (like twice before its shut). Nothing necessarily wrong with this, but have you guys heard of it?
On my iBook, it has a latch that flips out right before it closes. So the two clicks could be the hook flipping out and then attaching. Of course, I don't know if this is the latch system used on the MacBook Pro.

Does it click in the entire display bezel? If so it could be that the LCD panel itself is slightly loose and flexes when you close the screen. I had that problem a d am waiting for it to be repaired. It seems like it had to do with the internal brackets that hold the display I. Place needing tightening.

my hinges were replaced because the screen wouldnt go as far back as every other macbook pro i've played with. but it still makes a clicking noise. do you think i should take it to an apple store (and see what the problem is from there?)
I dunno if they'll do anything about it.... not that big of a deal, it's just weird to me.
