I didn't really ask for anything this year to be honest because i already got what i really wanted (iPhone/iMac), i tend to not leave those to chance and end up getting them myself.
I got these gifts however. I was meant to pay my brother later on for the mouse for using his Amazon account to order but my debt has been nullified. The PSP and game were co-gifts from sister and friend hence the white colour. Girls loves their white. I kind of wish the game was the recently released version 2 but i'm still happy with this classic

Its a good mouse and if you want it go ahead.
Another thing that pushed me towards the MX 1000 is that user feedback (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=401842) seemed to favour it more than the Revolution and the MX1000 got an Editors Choice (http://reviews.cnet.com/mice/logitech-mx1000-laser-cordless/4505-3148_7-31095326.html?tag=prod.txt.1) from CNet whilst the Revolution didn't (http://reviews.cnet.com/mice/logitech-mx-revolution/4505-3148_7-32036707.html?tag=prod.txt.1)

Yeah Leopard is a nice improvement over Tiger. I haven't had any of the issues that seem most rampant (slow performance, Airport dropping, crashing). The 10.5.2 update is due out any week now. That should fix most (if not all) the issues that others are having! Tiger however, is still a great OS. If Leopard hadn't shipped with my refurb, I wouldn't be in any rush to upgrade. Have fun with your new iMac! :)

Okie-dokie.
First off, I wasn't expecting this Christmas to be as big as past ones. And for the most part, it wasn't. However, I'm still incredibly thankful for everything I received.
My mom bought me a Logitech G9 laser mouse which I had asked for. I've gone through about five mice in the last two years, and have yet to find one I liked. The last being the Apple Mighty Mouse; which was fantastic at first, but slowly became quite the nuisance between a funky scroll ball, a sticky undersurface, and an inability to left and right click at the same time. This mouse is a VAST improvement! (3000DPI, teflon feet, 9? buttons, frictionless scroll ball, custom weights and widths, etc) She also got me the Wave Keyboard from Logitech. I cannot stress how much this keyboard has improved my typing efficiency. One of my dorm buddies in college got it and preached me for days before I finally tried it, and he was right, it's a fantastic keyboard. Again, I'm moving away from two Logitech keyboards, a MS keyboard, and an Apple Bluetooth keyboard. She got me Mass Effect for Xbox 360. Funny, I really didn't expect a game this year, as I hadn't asked for any, knowing money was tight... but, she surprised me. I had really fallen in love with my GF's Agent 18 case for her iPhone, but I wanted white... which was never in stock. My mom ordered it online. And finally, my "big gift" that I had wanted; Shure SCL3 sound isolating earphones. These earbuds have INCREDIBLE sound quality. Granted, I'm no huge audiophile... but I can certainly tell a distinction between good sound a great sound... and these fall in the latter category. I'm very happy with them!

http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2266/2140865208_a224b34f04_o.jpg
From my grandparents and aunts/uncles/cousins, I got a $100 Visa giftcard, a few collared shirts, a couple pairs of Levi's, a Halo T-shirt, some Nintendo pants, and various other goodies like candy, toys, Mizzou/dorm stuff, etc...
http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2033/2140102549_d506c76907_o.jpg
And finally, my GF got me the Seasons 1-5 collector's boxset of 24 that includes a behind the scenes book and CTU t-shirt; and all five seasons in a collector's metal briefcase. I was quite impressed... because she kept bugging me about what I wanted, and I told her I just wanted it to be a surprise; that she should know me well enough. She did great!

She did great!

... and that's my essay...
What iPhone case is that? Agent 18 what? On their site they have the eco shield..the iphone shield..and some diamond something. Which is the one you have. I really like how it looks. I think it may be the iPhone shield because thats the only one on their site that is white, but you said that ur GF has a black one, which the iphone shield is not even offered it.. so then it might be the ecoshield which comes in black, but not white. it comes in natural which is an off-white, which doesnt look as good. So what is the case thats in the picture? Thanks.

Hey, the iPhone shield and the iPhone eco-shield are the same case, except the eco-shield (the black one) is made out of recycled components, while the regular one isn't. So, I have the White iPhone Shield, and my GF has the Black iPhone Eco Shield. They both look the same (except the color, and I think the black eco one has a picture of a tree on the back). I hope that helps!

That's one hell of a self-present.
I've always seen Phillippe's as watches that you only wear on special occasions (black/white tie dinners, big board meetings, etc.)... And only receive at special junctures (friends get 'em for HS graduation; making that first $1B deal; gaining partner status at a big firm)
That said, I assume you have a rolex for everyday at the office and an omega or tag for when you're on the boat (i.e. in action)?

I've got both the mx1000 and the rev and the revolutions is the best by a mile. Only thing that it is worse on is the battery life.
I've also got one of the vx nano's and you simply cannot believe how small it is hehe.

Ah, that makes much more sense.
That said, I do know a Amex black card toting doctor who has quite the collection of watches (and suits, and cars, etc--he's also great on the grill with a tenderloin)... he might live by the previously mentioned rule "Philippe-special, Rolex-everyday, Omega-diving"

Why's that? Wouldn't it be configurable, if not with Logitech software, then with USB Overdrive?

yeah, I think it was the best choice available. Especially with the new Opera Mobile out :-D Unfortunately the one I got in the mail is busted (see my ebay thread in the community discussions forum) so I'm bidding on a new one now and hoping to hear back from the seller of the busted one. If not, I'll place a dispute with ebay and my credit card.
