Mac Thin Keyboard Volume Help

I am not too sure whether this belongs here or not. If it doesn't, my apologies.

Anyways, I have purchased the thin apple keyboard. And, when I attempt to change volumes using the default F11 and F12 shortcuts (Which have the Volume Control Pictures on the keys itself) it either brings the dashboard up or hides my windows to the side of the screen. Please help me, for I am getting very frustrated.

No that doesn't work. Anyone else have any suggestions or know a solution?

Never mind, all I needed was the Support Update 1.2 for the keyboard.
