i opened it this morning. and plugged it up to my MBP. It synced all my songs and i played with it for a while. I then decided to jail brake it. So i downloaded that itunes restore so it would go to 1.1.1 from 1.1.2. It doesnt do anything when i download it. what am i supposed to do with the icon when it appears.

also i try jailbrakeme.com and it just sits there with a question mark box in top left corner. Normal?

i suggest you do what i did.

read everything before you start and watch a youtube vid or 2 before you start.
 
please just tell me what to do with the itunes restore icon. i drag it to my applications folder and when i click it nothing happens. My itunes wont downgrade.
and the youtube videos suck.

not sure what you did to do that so no easy answer.

worse case, hit restore and start again.

my suggestion in the first post still stands.
