Question about Previewing music on Finder in Mac OS X Leopard

Ever since I upgraded, when I preview music on finder, I see this

Where I just play and i can't pause I just stop.

Is there a way I can get the original method where you had a bar and you an adjust the volume, pause, and play it?

The only way I know of in Leopard is by way of Quicklook.

Have you tried Quick Look?

Try using Quick Look instead.

Select track > press space bar

Ah thanks for the help, but is t herea way I can keep the quicklook playing even though I switch to another program?
