I like it, at least for use on the sofa.

Now if I could only find a Bluetooth trackball. Can't move a mouse very well on the sofa.

Mousekeys did not seem to work very well with the new keyboard on my first try. I'll try again later. If I could dispense with the mouse entirely (at least for sofa-type operations) it would be just fine.

My wife's dad bought her one for her birthday in September, so I figured: how can I teach her how to use it unless I had one myself? Aren't I a great husband?

Besides, that is when the $200 price drop happened. Some called that a "fiasco," but I took it as a sign from God that He wanted me to have an iPhone. :)

Looking good at work and on the weekends was more important than new tech toys this time since I already have all of the tech toys I want (iPhone, PowerMac G5)

I also love the fact that the Classic matches my Powerbook!

Didn't get any Apple hardware, but my wife's sister did get us a set of matching softwear. She and her boyfriend stood in line for hours at the Leopard launch to get us a pair of those t-shirts (http://blog.epromos.com/archives/2007/10/leopard_launch.html) Apple gave away. They aren't even Mac fans (they're tech savvy and Mac friendly, but not fans). Pretty cool gift, considering the planning involved and the fact that I'd never wait in line like that myself! :eek: ;)

Also kind of funny since we still don't have Leopard yet. It was on my wishlist but nobody got it for me. :rolleyes:

I got an airport express -- #3 in the house. Now we can stream music wirelessly in the kitchen, living room, and TV room.

It was a nice gift because I wasn't going to buy one for the TV room. We've already got a PowerBook in there and it would have been easy enough to connect that computer directly to the audio system. But then that would have been one more cable to plug in any time you charged the computer, so the airport express saves, what 10 seconds of effort? That's not something I'd buy for myself, but as a gift it was great. It really is much more convenient!
