For one reason. Glossy Screen. After a day of using it I really cant handle how much it hurts my eyes and gives me a headache.

The brightness dosen't help either, yes I have tried the F keys and calibrate in the machine preferences. It's a shame because I love the machine, love it's performance, etc.

But before I do, is there anyway way at all I can take it somewhere to have the glossy screen replaced with a matte?

You can get one of those matte screen protectors. I use it with my iphone and PSP and works great.

change colour profile? download David's.
I think the screen is very easy on the eyes actually. can sit for hours without feeling a thing in my eyes or head
