View Full Version : WoW auctioneer Addon- need help

Hey guys,

I downloaded the auctioneer addon from curse, moved the folder into Desktop-WoW-Interface-Addon, and for some reason it isn't working, any ideas?

I did the exact same thing with TitanPanel and it worked after a little bit of effort, so I'm not sure whats going on.

Some mods requires a dependency mod. Can't recall if auctioneer requires one.

I think what probably happened is you dragged the surrounding folder in where with some addons (and I can't remember if Auctioneer is one of them), you have to drag all the folders inside the main folder ("AuctioneerClassicSuite-5") into the Addons folder for it to work. Try putting each of the enclosed folders ("!Swatter", "Auctioneer", etc.) directly under the Addons folder and don't put the "AuctioneerClassicSuite-5" folder itself in.

EDIT: Thanks, it worked, now I need to figure out how to use this thing...

I believe you need to do " /load auctioneer always" or something like that. Also what I do initially and every once in a while is go to the AH and bring up that Window. There should be a button on the bottom that is new called "Scan". Select that and go get something to eat/drink while it scans and updates the database. That way it will be synced to your realm to that date and give you some ideas on if it selling and at what cost, etc. I really like it!!
