Time Machine - MacBook - Restore from Backup

Well, I decided to upgrade my MacBook hard drive to a 250gig. I installed it, then popped in my Leopard disk, formatted it into Mac OS X Extended Journaled, plugged in my USB drive, then clicked Restore from previous Time Machine backup, or something like that. Well, it quits every time @ 62.5%. I'm about to try it a third time. Any suggestions?
