HI...

I'm new here. I have some children games that require OS 9 to run.
I have a MacBook with OS 10.4.11 (intel core 2 duo)

Can someone help me with instructions on how to run OS 9 as a program to run and install these older games?

I would really appreciate the help.

You'll need to use some emulation software. SheepShaver can do OS 9.

There's a good article describing someone's experiences with various emulators on an Intel Mac here.

Too much work!

Thanks everyone....unless there's a layman's install step-by-step process, I think I'll just have to find new games for the little ones. Seems like way too much work for me. 😱

Cheers, and thanks again. 😉

Great idea!

Great idea! I'll look around for an old machine.

Any ideas on what would be best mostly for playing older games?
As well as getting onto the internet for ClubPenguin, etc. And will still last a little while?

Thanks everyone....this is such a great place for answers. 😀

An iMac G3 might serve the best here for the price.

It's not going to be fun trying to use a Flash heavy children's site though.
