We have this Satellite receiver that streams out video and audio of what it is showing at the time.

It streams out DVB video (some sort of Mpeg-2), which can be picked up with a program in windows.

I was wondering is there an App that can pick up these streams over the ethernet network on a Mac?

I tried experimenting on VLC 6.0.0 but no luck, there are some updates to the DVB capabilities of VLC in 6.0.2. I found software (iTele .2) for hardware devices but this is just a software stream over the network.

The satellite reciever we have is the
DreamBox 7000S (http://www.dream-multimedia-tv.de/cat_eng/produkte/boxfeatures.php4).

Here is the link on how to do it in Windows, I tried it under VPC, but I think it is a bit slow for this kind of thing:

Thanks for your help
