Firefox and Leopard

Hi, I've just installed leopard and I've had problems logging into forums such as macrumors on firefox (same problem on camino). Has anyone experienced this problem? I can log onto forums fine on safari.

I'm using Firefox 3 beta 2 and I have no problems logging into MacRumors.

which version of FF are you using?
 
2.0.0.11 here, everything works fine

I don't think it's a matter of which version he has, but there's something else going on.

I spoke to early. All I can say is that it's not the version he's using. First guess (because of my experience) would be that his ISP blocks it somehow. That said, I'm completely ignorant of these issues--much less reading the attached picture.

Note I edited my post to hide my overstep.
 
well problem solved everything is fine in firefox 3 beta but I'm curious do know why it didn't work in 2.0.0.1

Take note that FireFox 3 behaves more like a super friendly OS X Cocoa application.

It's rebuilt from the ground up to be more OS X like in the Safari sense.
 
Long story short, FireFox 3 is more then likely using the same network settings that Safari does.

Sorry for steamrolling everyone else. 😱

I only have Camino so far, just dumped FF2 since I am not using it anyway. I am also not using Camino anyway....I don't why a person need so many browsers?🙂

haha i have all of those installed too except for IE i use IE4OSX
