Whats the best device that uses wi-fi for wireless i.m clients that works well with a mac? i've owned an itouch but was disspointed with the battery life with the wi-fi on (needed the wi-fi for aim,yahoo)

I've heard of the Zipit Z2 can anyone confirm if this would with an AirPort Extreme with 802.11b/g WEP 😕
