Do you guys think it would be a better decision to wait until macworld and see if they and any nice new stuff the the MBP or even a cheaper price or some kind of deal.
Or go with it now and take advantage of the free printer.
Are there really any changed anticipated for the MPB next month?

It's only a few weeks, so you might as well wait for it. The printer deal will likely be renewed, so don't worry about that. You won't get a price drop, but you'll get better hardware for the money.

If you don't need it right away, I'd wait. The MBP is due for an update, so you might as well wait to see if we get one in a couple of weeks. The printer rebate is almost continually renewed, so there's probably no reason for that to be a deciding factor.

Again, it's two weeks away and the machine is due for an update. Intel launches new chips on January 6th as well.
Use the forum search please. :(

What kind of difference in hardware?Newer, faster processors.
I doubt the video card will change or anything else.

You should be a non-conformist and buy now. Walk the path less trodden.

No new graphics card?!?!!? Oh,that's what I was hoping for in the new MBP. I was hoping for a 8600 with 256 RAM or 512 in the base model.
Do you think I should just go ahead and buy it and not wait since all I really care about is the graphics card? I mean its the base model, its not like they are going to upgrade the base model is going to 2.2Ghz or something (or at they?). Then I'll wait but other than that I done know. are they going to upgrade the base models processor speed?

Why do people join thinking we have all the answers? The site is called Mac Rumors for a reason. If we knew exactly which changes Apple would make before they announced them, the site would have been sued into oblivion years ago...

MacRumors will be providing live details (as always) via MacRumorsLive and the front page will certainly be updated to reflect any announced products after the keynote. ...I'm sure we'll see an official coverage announcement a few days before the keynote.
After the keynote Apple's front page and online store will be updated as well.
The real question is: how would you not find out? ;)

Wait. Likely current models will drop in price and new models may sport something new like a ipod touch track pad.

You have nothing to lose except two weeks. Even if the updates aren't too your likings, the prices will go down in the current models.
