No 15" MBP in 2.6GHz flavor in their retail stores?

as the thread title says...

I'm thinking about getting a 15" MBP in the 2.6GHz flavor. so I called one of my local Apple stores and he told me you can only get this option from their web site.

someone tell me this isn't true.....
 
Since that is a BTO option, you must order online. Anyways, if you are planning on buying, I would wait til MWSF (Jan 15) because the MBP is likely to be updated then.
 
I'm glad that they don't have the 2.6Ghz in stores as it would seriously have given my will power a test before MWSF.
