Airport Card for 12" PowerBook

Hello,

My friend is needing some help. She has my old 12" PowerBook G4, which doesn't have an Airport card in it.

Does anyone know where I can get an Airport Card for her? (UK Only Please)

Also... what information does I need from the Mac in order to find the right card.


Thanks for any help.

check the apple store refurbs page. I've seen them there from time to time. Otherwise ebay.

You are in luck. All 12" PowerBook G4s use the
Airport Extreme Card, which can be purchased from the Apple Store, sometimes available in the refurb section.

Certain older Powerbooks would need the "Airport Card" which is expensive to come by.
