What do you think of the 2008 Ninja 250R?

I'm ready to make the jump from my 49cc scooter to a starter bike...What's everyone think of the new 250 as a weekend bike? And before someone suggests a larger cc bike i'm sticking with a 250cc bike or less.

Good bike.
Good choice to got to 250 as well.
Nothing beats a gradual increase in engine capacity for gaining experience on two wheels.
