It might just be me, but I seems that Windows XP gets twice as loud as Leopard, and I maybe 25% brighter. Is this true for everyone?

On my MBP I feel Vista is louder than OS 10.4. Can't really notice the brightness difference though.

Windows isn't actually 'brighter' per se, but the default gamma settings are rather different, which can make it look more contrasty (and are a nightmare for anyone using Windows for graphic design... ;) )

As far as sound goes, yes XP seems to be that bit louder on my MBP. Most of the time I have sound muted, though :p
