iPod iPod Classic / XtremeMac AirPlay Boost

Has anyone tried using the AirPlay Boost on an iPod Classic? It doesn't appear at xtrememac.com anymore, so I'm not sure that they even support it. When I try to use it, i can't edit any of the menu options or anything. Nor can i have it select 87.9fm. Any help?
