I'm looking into buying an external display for my MBP. There are a few which state that they are both PC and Mac compatible, however the one I am looking at says only PC. I am having a hard time understanding how a monitor can not be compatible with a mac. This is what I'm looking at:

Is this something they do so they don't have to support mac, but it will work anyway?
Also, any other suggestions- I will be using the DVI and the VGA for my XBOX 360. Thanks a lot and Happy New Year!!
