'Sent' messages get sent to my Inbox and receiver

Whenever I send an email from my gmail account on Mail.app, (set up using imap...not pop) I receieve that same email in my Inbox. It is truly annoying because it also gets sent to the inbox on my iPhone. What is going on here?!

Of course I made sure that I was not in the recipient line or cc'ed or bcc'ed.

I had this problem too but fixed it somehow in a way that I can't remember. Huzzah.

Anyway, check the mail settings on your phone. Make sure they are IMAP and that the mailbox behaviors are set correctly (in the advanced mail account settings).
