iphone causes blue screen

Hi, When I plug my USB cable into my computer I get the device recognized as a digital still camera the I get the blue screen of death! What is wrong? I have a new 8gb iphone and a windows xp box

Do you have all of the latest updates installed? Latest iTunes version? Latest drivers for your USB ports? Try that.
