I use File Juicer, an app that breaks apart .exe files, to access Sim City stuff. For some odd reason when I extract, the extracted folder does not appear on the desktop.
File Juicer opens the folder when done, from there I can command click on the folder name to see the path, it is indeed on the desktop. Also if I navigate to my desktop folder in my user folder, all the folders are there with everything else that is on my desktop.
Repaired permission, restarted, etc. No mods installed that mess with anything system-wise.
Just find it odd that the desktop is not updating right, even after re-boots, yet the folders are showing up in the desktop folder.
