Today out of the blue (unless maybe I accidently pressed a hidden shortcut 😛) my 2nd generation MBP went to sleep and when I turned it on again I couldn't type the password to log on.
I was baffled. Only some of the letters appeared (as dots in the passworld bracket). I used an external keyboard via usb to type the correct password and successfully log on. Later I found out the problem. Apparently the num lock and caps lock functions were inverted and when they are ON they are actually OFF and when they are OFF they are actually ON.
What could have caused this?Is there any possible away around this? I'm typing this with both green lights on my keyboard ON in order to DEACTIVATE their effects. Otherwise i'd be typing "capitalized" (not really since numbers can't be capitalized) numbers 😛
Please help 😕
