Well, the second one definitely has better specs. But I try not to buy expensive things on eBay due to scammers. Why doesn't your friend buy a refurbished MacBook from the online Apple Store.
 
We cant get a refurb because there is only one in the store and its the old type and he would like the latest graphics card!
