Can't remember what it's like to not have a cell phone and I'd hate to be without one now.

I know a couple of people who claim they can't live without their pacemakers but I think they're being overly dramatic.

two devices i must have on me at all times:
- cell phone
- watch

yes, my cell phone can provide the time as well, but looking at my wrist first is a habit ingrained since i got my first mickey mouse watch as a small child. my current watch is an automatic and never needs batteries. if i'm ever hit by an EMP (non-nuclear), my watch will still work. :D

Some form of time telling device, whether it be a sundial or a stopwatch. I don't think I'd die without a computer/iPod/whatever. I'm just really meticulous about the time. Oh and I'd also like a house (if that counts as a device, not talking about a gates' mansion auto-house ZX3000 either).

A car.
I live in the USA midwest, so the public transportation system is a joke at best.
Without a car, a person seriously can't get much of anything done. Can't get to work, can't get to the store, can't do much of anything.

This is sad. I'm still relatively young, and I've had my fair share of technology. If it was up to me, I'd get rid of my computers, iPods, car, etc., and move to Panama and grow bananas.

Or insane. ;)

My laptop is nice to have, but I could certainly live without it. Don't know if you would still call that living, though. :D

Hmm there are a few for me...

- My car (I'm physically disabled so a necessity for me),
- Washing machine,
- MacBook Pro on the internet, although the internet isn't a device, more of a service.
- Central heating

I'm still laughing at the tasty, tasty organs comment *cracks up again*

That's how it is around here. There is no form of public transportation other than taxis, and those a few and far between. So I would have to say I couldn't live without my car and iMac.
