Anyone know of an app. (or would be interested in developing one) that adds a power button to the iPod Touch Springboard?
What I'm thinking of is an icon that you press that turns off the screen (like when you press the sleep/wake button on top). This would save wear and tear on the sleep/wake button. You could turn on the device by hitting the home button and turn it off with the new app.
And, if you have a case where the sleep/wake button is covered or hard to press, this would help with that as well.
