its starting to annoy me, is there a way to stop it??

is your phone jailbroken?? I have a small file which you have to place in one of the folders of your phone and you will have new slider turning autocorrection off
 
i bought it of some guy. it has a turbo sim in it...thats as much as i no...

and its version 1.1.2

You should really update to 2.1.

And also, I thought this topic was telling us all how to do it.. Should really start using question marks..

omg its right in front of ur face settings-->general-->keyboard--> the the first thing should say auto correction: on/off

This option was not available when the post was made. Not until 2.2 was it made, at the time only 2.1 was available.
