how does one become edgible for this discount?

my sister is a student in 11th grade of high school and wants to buy a iMac, can she get a iMac on the education discount?? do i just go under the education site pick the school she atteneds and buy it???

is their a catch?

im kinda pissed i didnt know about this because i attened LSU and i could have saved about $100-200 dollars :(

It's only for college students.

Akonradi,

According to Apple the discount is available for.

* College or university students
* College or university faculty, administration, or staff members
* K-12 teacher or staff members
* There is also a different discount for homeschool teachers

Isn't there a law enforcement discount?

I'm thinking I read on here somewhere that there is a government discount... I don't really know anything about it though.

The current sale at MacMall pretty much matches education discount prices. They are also throwing in extras that you won't get at Apple. It's worth a look.
