Garageband Loops

hi there

1. i was just wondering if anybody know if you import an audio file such as wav or mp3 into garageband select a section i.e a 4beat section and then make that an apple loop you can use in other projects

ive done this as instructed but it won't let me create a loop that will automatically fit the tempo of the project it stays the same, how do i convert it to an apple loop that will change tempo etc

2. also when i create a new project and set the bpm and key, if i then import an audio file will it change the key and tempo to what ive set

Hey, I was wondering about this same thing. I can make a custom loop, but I can't figure out how to save it as a tempo based loop :/

The area to select loop is just grayed out for me, I can't figure out why. Did you ever find a solution for this?
