"Connection Failed" error message when launching adobe CS2 applications

This error suddenly appeared yesterday after installing new printer drivers (brother MFC-230) on my new macbook running 10.5.1.

It only happens when launching photoshop or illustrator CS2

Any ideas how to get rid of it? It is preventing the applications from launching.
