what thoughts are out there about the possibility of a price drop for iphone?
i mean, considering macworld is around the corner

I think there's enough of a chance to warrant waiting 10 days, but its not a big chance...

I think UK might drop to £200. Esp. if a 16GB comes out.

Reason: to stimulate sales. I wonder if early UK adopters get an Apple Store voucher? A precedent has been set after all.

I'm guessing no chance. Apple already dropped the price and unless they are sitting on a lot of inventory, there is no way they will drop the price. They'll just keep selling at the current price until inventory runs out.

Apple will likely announce greater than expected iphone sales at macworld. There is no need to lower prices and no real need to release an update only 6 months after launch. Macworld will focus on MacPro, MacBooks, and iphone SDK. Iphone model changes will happen in the summer.
