Drag the files into the iTunes window.

dragging into itunes does not work
i have managed to record a cd but it only plays on a vcl player. I have two computers and it will play only on the vcls.

Try using Max (http://sbooth.org/Max/) to convert your music to an iTunes friendly format. If you're running Leopard, use the most current unstable build, as the previous versions do not work under Leopard.

if you can burn the mp3's to an audio cd format simply stick the disc in the cd drive and open itunes and ask itunes to convert the tracks?
