Forgot to put the ipod into restore mode.

I am trying to downgrade my ipod touch to 1.1.1 from 1.1.2, but i forgot to put the ipod into restore mode before opening the firmware file in itunes.

The restoring ipod software loading window stuck just before the end of the word software...

Im hoping that the restoration was stopped before any damage was done, i mean apple aren't stupid enough to let a half restoration happen are they.

God i feel dumb

Ow well. Any help? Can i just turn off the ipod and try again?

restart comp and touch and start over again.
