Imac & Panther Up-To-Date

Just wondering if anyone has had any luck receiving up-to-date for Panther with the purchase of the New iMacs????? They came out 1 week before the PowerBooks and both shipped roughly at the same time.

I've read two iMac owners say they had success.

Can you direct us to them, or now they were able to get the upgrade. ANy help would be greatly appreciated.

I bought the new iMac on Sep 26. I tried the up-to-date page yesterday with my serial number, and it did not accept it.

I wish now that i had waited before buying; could have save $129. as it stands, i may not upgrade this year :(

My iMac was purchased on Sept 16... I here powerbook owners have purchased their books on the 17th... Why would it would for some but not for others???? STRANGE!!!
