file writing in vista partition

I run an application in the Vista partition of my iMac (Leopard) that creates files for later data requirements. The programme does not write the files or create export files. This application works on my Win XP machine and on a stand alone Vista machine!

Any thoughts? Anyone?
 
problem solved: Vista user account codes. Turned to off. now I get a security message. Glad I don't use Vista much.
