When I try to start my 17" G$ powerbook under system OS X 10.2.3 I get the usual Sound followed by the usual screen with an Apple logo and a spinning wheel under it. Then the usual sign that various programs are loading. But the programs which load are not the normal ones that I see. Then suddenly I get a BLACK screen with a DOS-type message which says
Darwin/BSD (Local Host) (Console)
Login:
When I enter my usual login name it asks for a password. I enter the usual password and it sends back EVERY TIME "Logion incorrect" and I have to start over again.
It never works and there is no way it will start up.
I have tried starting from a system dick with the C key pressed. That won't work either.
If anyone out there has any ideas, I'd love to hear from you
THANKS
