The 8800GT BTO option for the new Mac Pros is backordered one to six weeks depending on the country so I don't think anyone here can answer that yet.

European applestores have 8 days shipping time for "NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT Graphics Upgrade Kit for Mac Pro".
I'd guess that even some applestores should have new MPs to show if it's "available now"...

Mac Pros are available in (at least some) Apple Stores, but they have the ATI 2600 video card.

Still nobody has tested hdcp compliance under windows?

Reason I'm asking this is, that there's possibility that Apple will include hdcp to future versions of OsX and I'm not gonna buy several graphics adapters for my MP for next couple of years.
If 8800GT has hdcp compliance under windows and it will work with older MP, I will buy it. If it doesn't I'll buy HD2600.
