Hi
I was just trying to decide wether the iMac G5 or Core Duo is better. The G5 is 64bit while theCore Cuo is 32 bit. Will havig 64 bit help a lot? And if it does help how mch does speed improve?

The intel processor will help more in the long run then the 64bit-ness of the G5 will.
64bit won't help until you start dealing with huge (over 3gig) files. The G5 will be slightly faster on some tasks then the original Core processors were, but it will also become obsolete faster IMO.
