HP Printer not Saving, always defaults to Premium Photo Paper...

ok, so.... I have a HP D4260 and its a work printer and I do not need it to print in color. I have my customers use it to print various things and id like for it to just print from the black cartridge. I've changes the settings and saved the preset as 'Black Cartridge Only' and it saves but if I goto print again, the preset says 'Black Cartridge Only' but it prints using the color cartridge and doesn't use the black cartridge at all. And when I goto the paper type it reads as 'HP Premium Plus Photo Paper'. What's weird is that if i click on 'presets' and select 'Black Cartridge Only' (even though it says its already on that preset) it changes it to what I had saved before, which was 'Plain Paper' and 'Black Cartridge Only'. This has got to be some sort of glitch and I cant seem to change it... I'm running on Leopard if that has anything to do with it... Any help would be greatly appreciated.
