iPod touch Everyone and there mother got an iPod touch for Xmas

i get the opposite, everyone says, 'ooohhhh is that one of those iphone things?'
and i say no its an ipod touch and then they look disappointed!!! and say 'oh what does that do then!?'

Take the thing out of your pocket to change track and are bombarded with 'ZOMG, is that an iPhone 😱' and then you have to let them down with 'Nah, just an iPod :|'
Now if only double click Home would change track the whole palaver could be avoided 🙄
I get the same about the iPhone. My cousin must have asked me three times, even though every time I have explained that it is an iPod.

You got me out of work! xD Cool.i have never had someone ask is that an iPhone or even ask about it. I don't wip it out very often. I have had my friends ask me to see it because they have heard that I have one though.

My only hope is that in between everybody asking you if its an ipod touch or iphone that you still know the difference between 'their' and 'there.'

I really hate all the overenthusiasm with regard to these. One kid actually stole mine before I ran after him, kicked him in the nuts, and pried his fingers open. That was really scary.

it was in the hallway during passing that she dropped it. then a fat dude stepped on it(not on purpose). it squished it.

Ive gotten the mistake for the iPhone a couple of times.
I cant wait until its boring again to have an iPhone or iPoT so I can take it out and no one will care. I feel like I have to risk everyone stopping what they are doing to talk to me when all I want to do is change the track or check my e-mail. 😡🙄
PS, whoever said they would like to change the double tap home button, if you have a JailBroken one there is an app you can get that does that.

Yeah, iPhoneHome. I've tried that and all it does is remap the double click to opening an app or a blank email or whatever, it can't re-route it to change track however.
