On a single proc iSight iMac 2.1Ghz G5.

Is it a bit snappier than 10.4.11 on a VINTAGE machine such as mine? 🙂

Given the increase in power of your machine over the system requirements, I think you'd be fine. It doesn't seem to be too demanding on the system until you try the bonus features like iChat video effects.
